7 Essentials to make your efforts Effective

It’s nearly everyday story that you get up early in the morning, freshen up yourself and dedicate an hour of workout for maintaing a healthy body. You drain out enough of sweat and calories everyday to make sure it gets your body into a better shape.

That’s the effort part.

Now comes the effectiveness part!

Huh! I do hell lot of crunches everyday and I am not able to buid up my desired shape, except for it adds to numerous aches all over the body, all throughout the day!!!

Do you ever think like that? Yes, in fact we all do. As a greater matter of fact the same may be widely applied in our other works too.

So, the point to be crisply discussed is ‘How to make it more effective?’

(Crisply because you must be thinking, No one gets along with the efforts turning effective until we actually do it! So let me get the crisp out of it!)

  • Measure your target
  • Break up the target into small elements(Remember when you last downloaded a movie, it was rapid because it was actually download in several parts from different servers! Yeah the same concept applies here)
  • Plan your elements and what are the optimization tools you need to use to make the target more achievable.
  • Proceed confidently.( Belief in oneself is of utmost importance!)
  • Track your progress( This is the most important of all steps, because if you don’t do it, you gradually loose faith in your actions and that would be the worst part)
  • Praise your efforts every moment,if not at least every day!  You have marched one step more towards your target.
  • Learn from the stories around you(Probably, better to focus on characters, because you never know you may find someone like you!)

Bon voyage! All the Best!

Not another Fitness freak!!

“Get a flat tummy in just few days ” , ” Get Fat to Fab in few weeks”

No, I have no authority to claim such statements! However, you must have come across such ads in TVs , magazines and websites, (Now even in the apps). I dont say that is impossible, but It is too hard for any chubby person to believe. Or may be, the person is suddenly convinced that what had not happened for so long and that he had been trying hard(which often stands out to be a myth), can turn out magically to be true.

No, as far as my personal opinion is considered I wont say, these could ever help you to achieve the feat.

Rather, subjecting yourself to 45 minutes of ‘brisk walking’ ( Mind it, the brisk mode must be maintained) can prove to be more effective than peeling off your adipose tissue by  any other means.

Why should you belive me? Well this is an obvious question,
( You can definitely question google about the benefits of brisk walking)

PS : No one will pay me for marketing ‘brisk walking’, right!

Until now we’ve been trying all stuffs wherein a fit person with perfectly carved abs suggests  fitness products. And we just tear our eyes apart when he/she showcases a person who was chubby a  few weeks ago, suddenly acquires well developed abs! No, that is definitely not our piece of cake!

FOR YOUR Satisfaction, I assure you I am no such fitness freak. I am a person like you whose belly peeps out a little, every time I wear a tight skinny outfit and get seated. 🙂 🙂

Its often better to hear the things from people like yourself!  I dont say ‘brisk walking’ would build you ‘ six pack abs’ but it would definitely make your health more sound than at present. The fitness mantra lies in the fact that all your body parts are in motion for 45 minutes and your heartbeat increases to an optimum level( its not that you get drenched with sweat and often due to lack of energy succumb to fatigue). It just keeps you moving, utilising your extra fat judiciously and carving a ‘better and fit you’ out of yourself.

I have tried it personally and Its no compulsion. If you have tried and are tired  of others, you must try this one out and probably figure it out for yourself!

Yoga is an additional bonus to your fitness schedule if you want to keep proper co-odination between mind and the body.

Tomorrow on 21st June, is the International Yoga day. You can utilise this opportunity to get yourself well off with Yoga and the ‘Asanas’ that you need.
Stay healthy, stay happy

#InstaTale 4

So, it was a sultry afternoon when I boarded the second bus to home.(I usually take to change three buses and some footsteps to return to home from College). Yeah! And the day was a hectic one. We had to perform multiple experiments one each on finding the ‘Slump of concrete ‘and the other one on the ‘action of coagulants’ and yet another on ‘Finding the dry density of soil’. Three experiments in a day in quick successions usually demand a lot of calories, but when you don’t have much, it all is extracted out from your stored fats! And guess what, You won’t be needing any workout for another two days.( Bit exaggerated though!!😇)

I jumped up the bus and threw myelf on the last three seats. I was badly tired!

I could barely open my eyes, but I had to as the Bus conductor demanded in a stern voice,”Haan bhaii Ticket”.

I gave him a twenty rupee note and suddenly something unexpected happened. A lady who was aged probably in her early thirties suddenly collapsed while looking for a seat. Probably, it was a heat stroke.

And the situation quickly turned chaotic. The driver stopped the bus. There were not many passangers. Allof them assembled, surrounding the lady. The lady was laid on the seat.

“Water”, one man demanded.

And I could not guess that no one in the bus had a bottle of water, for a fraction of second everyone began looking at each other. Now, all I could perceive that the situation demanded me to give my water bottle.

“Have you kept the water bottle?” Suddenly My Mother’s words echoed in my mind.

I quickly gave the bottle and fortunately it had not become warm. It was still cool.

A lady wiped the face of the unconscious lady. They sprinkled water over her face continuously and applied some to her head too.” Its damn hot!” Said the lady who examined her forehead.

In the mean time a nearby villager had quickly called a friend of his to bring the Doctor from the nearby nursing home.

The Doctor came and examined the patient. He asked the people to quickly take her to the nearby hospital.

The people helped her to get into an autorickshaw and rushed her to the hospital.

The next day when I was going to the college, I heard some people discussing the previous day incident.

They said that the lady was pregnant. And lost her conscious due to dehydration and heat stroke. She was checked up by the doctor and was recovering well since the last 18 hours.Their relatives have been informed by the people and the Doctor broke out on her family members due yo their neglected behaviour and irresponsible attitude with a pregnant lady!

The doctor also advised everyone to keep a bottle of water with them. You never know when a drop of water can come to your rescue.

The ‘mature’ kid

“A small step can bring about great change.”

I realised this statement even better when I found a little school going kid, involving in some really unpredictable behaviour.
Yes, unpredictable because, generally kids at tender ages of 4 to 5 years, who probably attend kinder garten, are involved in playing with soft toys and dreaming about their favourite cartoon characters, glancing through comic books and listening to bed time stories from their parents. You must be thinking, why am I explaining all these! That would be better adressed by the following excerpt of what I, visualised while waiting for my bus at a bus stop.

Probably, the kid was waiting for his mom at the bus stop after he deboarded his school bus with his friends.
Few minutes later, a well built muscular man passed by, dropping the banana peel on the road along with a plastic bottle. He crushed the bottle with his feet and strolled along , chatting on his phone.

Point to be marked here; there was a dustbin just adjacent to the spot where he threw the bottle and the banana peel. All he had to do, was to bent his hand a little and the disposal would have been proper.

Within few seconds, the kid rushed and picked up the banana peel and the bottle and disposed it off into the dustbin.

He took out his bottle, cleaned his hands and kept the bottle back into his little school bag.
A few minutes later a shimmering scooty stopped near the kid. The kid occupied the backseat held his mother’s waist tightly. Within few seconds, the scooty disappeared amidst the dust cloud.

I was completely speechless by the level of maturity shown by the kid, that in turn was expected from the man!

If the people, get involved in more such activities, and spread the awareness, our surroundings, city , Nation and probably the entire world will become cleaner, and more environment friendly.

If such small kids, can take the lead, why cant we?

It doesnt depend which country or region we belong to, but We should put forward little steps to keep our atmosphere safe and healthy.

Please do keep yourself and your surroundings clean
Keep smiling.
